2 bed flat to rent in Flat , Post Office, Sluice Road South Ferriby, South Ferriby, Barton-upon-Humber
Pink Property are pleased to offer this exceptionally spacious two-bedroom first-floor flat, located in the heart of the popular North Lincolnshire village of South Ferriby.
Occupying the first floor above the village Post Office, the property offers considerably more internal space than is typically found in a modern two-bedroom apartment, with generously proportioned rooms throughout and a practical layout suited to a professional couple, small family or anyone looking for comfortable village living.
The accommodation is entered at ground-floor level with stairs leading to the main living accommodation. Internally, the property is presented in neutral tones and offers a particularly large living room, providing ample space for both lounge and dining furniture. The fitted kitchen is also of a generous size and incorporates a good range of wall and base units, extensive worktop space, sink and drainer, and a substantial freestanding range-style cooker.
There are two well-proportioned bedrooms, both offering excellent usable floor space, together with a modern shower room comprising a large shower enclosure, pedestal wash basin and WC. Gas central heating and double glazing are provided throughout.
The property is to be offered unfurnished, allowing incoming tenants to make the accommodation their own.
South Ferriby is an attractive village situated on the southern bank of the Humber Estuary, approximately three miles west of the Humber Bridge. The village sits where the Lincolnshire Wolds meet the Humber and is surrounded by attractive countryside, making it particularly appealing for those wanting a quieter village setting whilst retaining good access to the surrounding towns and road network.
The property is particularly conveniently positioned above the village Post Office and general store, placing everyday amenities immediately on the doorstep. South Ferriby also benefits from public houses, a garage, village playing fields and recreational facilities.
For commuters, the village is well placed for access towards Barton-upon-Humber, Scunthorpe and Hull, with the nearby A1077 connecting towards the A15 and Humber Bridge. Barton-upon-Humber, a short drive away, provides a wider selection of shops, supermarkets and amenities together with rail connections towards Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
Those who enjoy walking and the outdoors are also particularly well catered for, with South Ferriby lying directly on the Viking Way, the long-distance walking route running from the Humber Bridge through the Lincolnshire countryside.
South Ferriby Primary School is located within the village on Horkstow Road, making the location potentially attractive to those with younger children.
