Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Company: Pink Property Ltd
Potential for Extension: Yes, subject to business requirements

An Exciting Opportunity to Join the Pink Property Team!

Are you highly organised, proactive and looking for a flexible, part-time role that you can undertake from home?

Pink Property Ltd is looking for a Part-Time Property Administration Assistant to join our established property management team on an initial three-month fixed-term contract.

As an independent estate and letting agency based in East Yorkshire, we manage a diverse portfolio of residential rental properties and pride ourselves on delivering a professional, personal and responsive service to our landlords and tenants.

As our managed portfolio continues to develop, we're looking for someone who can provide valuable administrative support to our Property Manager, helping coordinate maintenance activities, manage appointments and ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous administration or property management experience who is looking for a flexible, home-based position.

About the Role

Working closely with our Property Manager and wider team, you'll play an important role in ensuring that property management tasks are handled efficiently and that communication between landlords, tenants and contractors remains clear and timely.

The position is primarily administrative, with a particular focus on maintenance coordination, appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate information within our property management software.

You'll be expected to manage your workload independently, take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively follow up on outstanding matters.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management Administration

  • Maintaining and updating property, landlord and tenant records within our management software.

  • Ensuring information is accurately recorded and kept up to date.

  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, correspondence and record keeping.

  • Monitoring outstanding tasks and helping maintain an organised workflow.

Maintenance Coordination

  • Receiving, logging and processing property maintenance requests.

  • Liaising with tenants and contractors to arrange suitable appointments.

  • Coordinating access arrangements and scheduling maintenance visits.

  • Following up with contractors to establish progress and completion dates.

  • Updating maintenance records and ensuring jobs are tracked through to completion.

  • Escalating urgent or unresolved matters to the Property Manager.

Communication and Customer Service

  • Responding to routine enquiries by telephone and email.

  • Maintaining professional communication with landlords, tenants and contractors.

  • Providing updates on outstanding maintenance matters.

  • Supporting the wider team to ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in hearing from individuals who are organised, confident using technology and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident written and verbal communication.

  • Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.

  • A professional, friendly and helpful approach.

  • The ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands.

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.

  • Reliability, discretion and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.

Previous experience working within estate agency, lettings, property management, maintenance coordination or general administration would be advantageous.

However, property industry experience is not essential. We're equally interested in applicants who bring strong transferable administrative and organisational skills.

Training and guidance on our property management systems and procedures will be provided.

Working Arrangements

We appreciate that flexibility is important, which is why this position is being offered on a remote, work-from-home basis.

The role is expected to involve approximately 12–16 hours per week, with the precise working pattern to be agreed with the successful applicant.

Although we can offer flexibility around working arrangements, some availability during normal business hours will be necessary to coordinate with tenants, contractors and the wider Pink Property team.

Applicants will need a suitable home-working environment, a reliable internet connection and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues while working remotely.

What We Offer

  • Remote working: Undertake your role from home.

  • Part-time hours: Approximately 12–16 hours per week.

  • Flexible arrangements: A working pattern to be agreed around operational requirements.

  • Initial three-month contract: A fixed-term opportunity with the potential for extension.

  • Supportive team: Work alongside an experienced and approachable property management team.

  • Varied responsibilities: An opportunity to develop experience across property administration and maintenance coordination.
